Big 12 dominating the Pac-10

The Buffs are a much-improved team but still not exactly poster boys for their power conference.

Colorado lost 74-69 at Oregon State last Friday.

The Big 12 still leads the third annual Hardwood Series against Pac-10 by an impressive 8-2 count.

Iowa State, which lost 82-63 to Cal, is the only other Big 12 school to lose so far.

The Buffs (5-3) will try to improve to 5-0 at the Coors Events Center tonight against Colorado Christian.

However, CU is still looking for a “quality win” after difficult losses to Gonzaga, Arizona and Oregon State.
