Ricardo Patton finds work

Former Colorado head coach Ricardo Patton, who was fired at Northern Illinois after compiling a 35-83 record over four seasons, has been hired as an assistant coach at Maryland Eastern Shore.

“Aside from being a personal friend of mine for well over 20 years, Ricardo is a very dynamic individual,” Maryland Eastern Shore head coach Frankie Allen said in a release. “He is an outstanding recruiter and coach, and having a guy with his background and experience, he will help a lot in the development of our players and give our program a shot in the arm.”

One of Patton’s nine victories last season at Northern Illinois was against Maryland Eastern Shore.
