Pac-12 predictions, Charleston edition

CHARLESTON, S.C. — I’m here between ACC and SEC country covering basketball.

But after a perfect week, Under the Rim still has time to make Pac-12 football predictions sure to go about 75 percent right.

Check out last week’s 6-0 run:

Utah at Washington

My prediction: Huskies win third straight, 24-20. Actual outcome: Huskies won third straight, 34-15.

Oregon at Cal

My prediction: Ducks beat up Bears, 56-17. Actual outcome: Ducks beat up Bears, 59-17.

UCLA at Washington State

My prediction: Bruins take care of business, 41-20. Actual outcome: Bruins took care of business, 44-36.

Arizona State at USC

My prediction: Trojans turn things around, 45-24. Actual outcome: Trojans turned things around, 38-17.

Oregon State at Stanford

My prediction: Cardinal escapes with 27-24 win. Actual outcome: Cardinal escaped with 27-23 win.

Colorado at Arizona

My prediction: Wildcats win big, 44-21. Actual outcome: Wildcats won big, 56-31.

And today’s predictions:

No. 21 USC Trojans (7-3, 5-3) at No. 17 UCLA Bruins (8-2, 5-2) at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif. (1 p.m., Fox)

USC isn’t going to win the national championship and Matt Barkley isn’t going to win the Heisman Trophy. But the Trojans will still play for the Pac-12 title after a mild 34-30 upset over the Bruins in this South Division championship game.

Washington State Cougars (2-8, 0-7) at Arizona State Sun Devils (5-5, 3-4) at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Ariz. (1 p.m., Pac-12 Networks)

Sun Devils get bowl eligible with a 38-21 win over the Pirate’s sinking ship.

No. 14 Stanford Cardinal (8-2, 6-1) at No. 1 Oregon Ducks (10-0, 7-0) at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Ore. (6 p.m., ABC)

This should be a classic game for the North Division. And the Ducks will pass Kansas State (No. 1 in the BCS standings) with their most important win to date, a 45-31 victory over the Cardinal.

Arizona Wildcats (6-4, 3-4) at Utah Utes (4-6, 2-5) at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City (8 p.m., ESPNU)

Utes need to win this game and beat the Buffs to get bowl eligible. Utah takes the first step with a 45-38 win.

Cal Bears (3-8, 2-6) at No. 15 Oregon State Beavers (7-2, 5-2) at Reser Stadium in Corvallis, Ore. (8:30 p.m., Pac-12 Networks)

Beavers chop the Bears, 34-24.

Washington Huskies (6-4, 4-3) at Colorado Buffaloes (1-9, 1-6) at Folsom Field in Boulder (11:30 a.m., FX)

CU should play its best game of the year, but there isn’t enough talent on this team to compete in the Pac-12. Huskies win 37-24.

Idle: None.

My season record: 58-19 (.753)
